Protecting our junior members.
Having management systems to ensure full compliance with our statutory obligations throughout our activities.
Giving Child Protection matters the same attention as other critical matters.
Promoting best practice.
In implementing this Policy, Golden Ring ABC will:
Comply with the above commitments.
Manage Child Protection matters to meet or exceed statutory requirements.
Identify those responsible for ensuring effective and verifiable systems are implemented and monitored to achieve our commitments.
Promote an environment which is free from intimidation and abuse.
Ensure that all incidents are reported, properly investigated and appropriate action is taken to minimize or avoid recurrence.
Provide appropriate support, advise and information to coaches, members and parents on Child Protections matters.
The Club Secretary is responsible for ensuring compliance with the above.
